Renaissance Man JT Daly writes, records, and produces for his new collaborative project The Voodoo Children, along with help from his close friends Daniel Tashian (who produced Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour), Gregg Alexander of The New Radicals, and K. Flay.

For years, Daly fronted the Nashville-based indie pop band Paper Route, and more recently has worked as a producer on stuff like PVRIS’s single “Hallucinations” and K. Flay’s album Every Where Is Some Where.

Of the Americana-tinged indie track “Caroline,” the first single off their forthcoming EP Instant Nostalgia (release date TBD), Daly explains, “At some point in everyone’s life they reach a point where they emotionally max out. They go numb and are faced with the absoluteness of: evolve or die. When this happens it’s always best to have friends around. “Caroline” is a song about reminding someone…it’s never gonna feel this way again.”
