Following 2014’s Please and 2017’s Pleasure, Sondre Lerche continues his quest for perfect pop via an album with a one-word title starting with “P.” The 12-song Patience is the finest record yet from this Norwegian-born singer/songwriter, who recently relocated from NYC to L.A. in search of serenity now and a place to jog long distances while listening to ambient music. It’s no surprise, then, that Patience is also Lerche’s most chill album, and it’s arrived when we can all use some of that in our lives. Keep calm and have Patience.
